AS 7059 Sn is a product designed to remove tin, lead, solder, zinc and cadmium coatings from copper, yellow, nickel, silver, iron-steel and stainless steel without electrode when used with sodium hydroxide. Materials can be removed from the basket without damaging the bottom coating and without using current. A brush can often be sufficient to smooth the polish after removal. In some cases, it may not be necessary. The oxide layer that will form on the part after disassembly is removed with 30 g/lt Sodium Cyanide solution.
