The AP 1024 process is a highly efficient, multi-purpose alkaline immersion hot degreasing specially formulated for use in processes where a wide variety of metals and contaminants are treated. Oils, greases, waxy shaping chemicals, polishing residues, emulsion cleaner films, sulfurized and chlorinated oils are easily cleaned and removed. The cleaning properties of degreasing can be accelerated by air movement, mechanical or ultrasonic mixing. It is formulated to not damage all metals except magnesium, especially materials such as Yellow, Copper, Zamak and Aluminum. It can also be used for brushed nickel plating and anodizing and bright pre-dipping aluminum to be chrome plated.
